  Wonderful dinner venue for a group or more intimate affair. The vegetable tempura and cornbread was delicious! Good prime rib and potato choices, and the starter salads are excellent. This is a very nice venue in the Soo. Highly recommend.

  Quite possibly my favourite restaurant in the Sault! Their Steak Sandwich, available during lunch hours, is phenomenal. I ordered mine rare, and the steak melted in my mouth. Their mashed potatoes are so good, and are a great compliment to their sirloin during dinner. Also, their dessert selection is sinful but incredible!! I will return...and return....and return again and again :)

  The interior and exterior are absolutely beautiful. They make great use of the reclaimed space. However, our table of 12 was very disappointed with the service and quality of food. When you are paying $40 a plate this isn't acceptable. Meals were brought out in delayed chunks and multiple meals had to be sent back because the meat wasn't cooked to order. The final meals arrived when the first meals were done. The server was very rough and clearly got overwhelmed which resulted in a meltdown. Managements apology came in the form of a 15% discount to the affected meals. It would have been preferable for a manager to actually approach and apologize for the service. The 15% discount felt flippant.

  We thought dessert might make up for this, so I had carrot cake and she had chocolate ganache cake. Unfortunately we couldn't eat these either because they were both so dried out and not fresh.

  I ordered the prime rib melt sandwich and couldn't take more than a few bites because it was like biting into a block of salt. My mom ordered the Rueben sandwich and couldn't eat hers either because it tasted like the meat had gone bad.

  Great location, beautiful ambience ... a bit small inside and mediorce food. The building has great character and I was impressed when we first walked in but when we were seated at a tiny table for two that seemed to be right on top of other tables I was a bit disappointed. The service was very good - waiter was very attentive and punctual. I had a rib-eye with garlic mashed potatoes. The rib-eye was good but it was just a steak doused with a generous amount of Montreal Steak Spice - i expected at least a custom spice blend or marinade from a restaurant with prices such as this one. The potatoes were way over-salted and almost inedible. I'll wait a while before I try Mill Steakhouse again.
